Peachjar is the website we use to send notifications of school and community events. Go to the Highline Public Schools website and click on “peachjar eFlyers”. Pick Hazel Valley and follow the easy instructions to register to receive electronic notifications. You can also add other schools so you are getting paperless notices from all your children’s schools.

Student Led Conferences

Conferences will be Monday through Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving break in November. School will not be in session, but students are expected to attend and lead their conference. Information will be sent home in October for families to schedule a time for their conference. As a means of sharing information, conferences give families an opportunity to discuss and see the student’s special strengths and needs, and interpret his or her progress.  Interpreters will be provided, if needed.

Conference Appointments are not Limited to Once a Year

You are encouraged to make an appointment to see your child’s teacher whenever you feel there is a need.
