Students in 4th and 5th grades who choose hybrid learning will begin on April 1 and we have some important information and reminders.

Transportation

If you qualify for transportation, find your route information on our transportation website. If you need support, please reach out to the transportation department at 206.631.7502.

Kindergarten students must be met at the bus stop by an adult through March 26.

Safety Expectations

Our safety expectations and plan are based on current guidance from local, state and federal public health agencies. Each layer of protection keeps us safer. Watch this video to see our safety expectations in action.

Here are seven important safety steps. By practicing them all every day, we can keep each other as safe as we can be!

  • Complete a health screening form every day.
  • Use hand sanitizer and wash your hands when your teacher asks you to.
  • Use your own school supplies. Supplies are provided by your school.
  • Follow directions for entering and moving around your school. Signs show you where to walk. Some hallways may be one-way.
  • Sit away from other students on the bus, unless they live with you.
  • Wear your mask at all times. Cover your mouth and nose. Don’t touch your face or anyone else’s mask. Your school has masks if you need one.
  • Stay six feet apart as much as possible.

School Safety Plan

Our school safety plan has more details on safety measures, including instructions for entering the school building, staff and student health screenings, cleaning protocols, ventilation, and much more.

Health Screening Form

Before students enter school each day, they must have a completed health screening form. Parents and guardians are encouraged to submit the electronic form at least 30 minutes prior to the start of school.

We will send a daily email and text message with a link to your school's form. You can also find a link to the form on our website. For quick access to the form, follow these steps to save a link on your smartphone.

Saving the Health Screening Form to a Smartphone

Students will be screened at school if a form is not completed before they arrive.

Masks

Everyone must wear a mask. An effective mask:

  • Has two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric
  • Completely covers your nose and mouth
  • Fits snugly against the sides of your face and doesn’t have gaps
  • Has a nose wire to prevent air from leaking out of the top of the mask

Gaiters, bandanas, scarves and ski masks do not substitute for masks and are discouraged.

When to Stay Home

Anyone who is sick or has any COVID-like symptoms should stay home. Please review the public health guidance and symptom flow chart.

Covid Dashboard

We have a new tool to track positive COVID cases among staff and students working and learning in our schools and facilities. The dashboard displays several data points including positive test results by date and by location.
